Zen looked around, "Authentic" said Zen approvingly. They sat at a table where two holographic players were shuffling a deck of cards. "Deal us in, said Zen."

Sarik received his cards. " What game are we actually playing?"

The computer generated deal, responded unempathetically, 5 card draw

Sarik looked at his cards. "I am supposed to bet now?"

The two computer generated players snorted. Yeah, unless you do not have the cards to even play.

Hunter smirked, he knew Sarik was an excellent poker player

"I bet one." Sarik looked at Hunter

Hunter picked up his cards, I see you and raise 10 he said." looking at Miranda

Miranda looked her cards over and dropped a stack of chips onto the table. "I have your ten, and raise you ten more."

Zen looked at his cards, nothing specatular, "I'll see your ten." he said putting in his chips

TJ also followed suit and dropped his chips on the table. Sarik said nothing, he counted the cards, and figured the were bluffing. It was a 76% chance. But they could, as always be right. "I follow you." The two computer players were no longer smiling.

One folded and the other matched the bet. The dealer turned to Sarik and said "How many you need?" Sarik raised an eyebrow. "Interesting." He had only two pairs. "Two." he said determined

The dealer took Sarik's discard and gave him two new ones.

Turning to Hunter "How many?"

Hunter set two cards on the table and slide them toward the dealer, "Two." Hunter collected the two new cards and put them in his hand and sat back.

Miranda told the dealer not to bother. SHe was happy with her cards.

Zen had crappy cards. He decided to discard all but one. Zen smirked as the dealer gave him four new cards.

He nodded at TJ who took one card and so did the computer player who incidently called himself Hal.

Sarik looked at his cards. His calculation was off now that he saw Zen discarding four cards.

Sarik was unsure about his cards. They were not too good, but with something called bluff, a manner that Hunter learned him he could also get away.

All eyes were on Sarik, waiting to see what he had.

Sarik lowered his cards. He had three Kings, not much. but might be enough.

Ian laid his cards down. He had three Queens, "Lovely ladies," he said.

Sarik raised his eyebrow, there wasn't anything lovely about the cards he thought.

Miranda smiled at him. She put her cards down. "Full house Aces over duces"

Zen laid his hand down. he had two pair.

Sarik thought it wasn't possible. He must have miscalculated.

TJ had nothing. He tossed his cards down. "Queen high"

Hal the computer guy also had two pair. Hunter smiled at Miranda as she scooped up her winnings

"Luck is a lady after all," said Miranda

They continued to play for a really long time.
