Stardate: 58203.8 0900

=ready room = Hunter was reviewing the mission parameters for Atwood's mission. When Wright entered the ready room for their usual morning meeting.

When Wright arrived both men made some small talk. "Can I get you anything?" said Hunter as he retrieved an iced cola from the replicator.

"No thank you Sir." said Wright.

Hunter sat down and handed Wright the padd with the detail of Atwoods plans. "First order of business," said Hunter with a nod.

Wright looked over the information on the PADD and shook his head. He placed the PADD on the end of the Captain's desk and slowly sighed as he sat down. "Perhaps this task is too big for Atwood." He suggested. "This assignment is clearly a undercover mission that requires stealth and he wants to put together a 4 person team?"

Wright picked up the PADD and scrolled though it again. "He wants a doctor and has listed three candidates." Wright wished that they were actually on board. If we really had three doctors on board then Wright would not have needed to take over sickbay when we first discovered the Kittyhawk. "These three candidates are not even on this ship? Clearly out intelligence officer needs to sharpen his skills."

Hunter frowned a bit at Wright's comments. Clearly something was not right or was bothering him. "Speak freely Commander... your recommendations on this mission?"

Wright had been considering recommending that Atwood be made Acting Intelligence Chief, however, he was rethinking that thought now. "Frankly Sir, I am quite disappointed in this request. This mission requires stealth and mobility and sending a 4 man team is not going to accomplish either of those things." Wright paused to gather his thoughts,"We certainly cannot send a science officer and a doctor who are not trained in clandestine operations into this situation, especially as green as our crew is."

"At first my recommendation was that he should go alone and try to learn about Jenkins and his plan, however, I now see that our Lt. Atwood might need some help. I would say no more than one person should go with him and that person should be a trained intelligence officer."

Hunter read the report again, then set the PADD down. "Okay Number One." Hunter nodded. I'll go with your recommendations. Go ahead and visit with Atwood about the mission alteration."

Hunter took a sip from his glass and set his drink down.

"Yeah," he said, "Probably a good idea"

"Very good Sir. I will discuss it with him." said Wright.

After reviewing several other issues Hunter dismissed Wright to his duties.
