Melissa Jarvis was just about to leave her office when the chime rang again. "Enter," she said. Looking up at the door.

A Chief Petty Officer entered. "Chief Petty Officer Johnson reporting as ordered." He handed Melissa a PADD with his orders on.

Melissa looked over his orders. "I see you were a member of the KIttyhawk," she asked thinking of the Crewman Wilson affair. "Have you been evaluated by a counselor?" The last thing she wanted was another tragedy.

"Yes Sir. I have been checked out and will have regular session with the Zion's Ships Counselor." He could tell she was hesitant to take him on. "I have been clear to return to duty Sir. I just want to get back to work."

"Very well Chief. I can use you an gamma shift in the armory." She looked at him closely, "Make sure to get your appointments scheduled with the counselor,"

"Aye Sir. Thank you Sir."

"Dismissed." said Melissa.

She watched Johnson leave and then she left too. She decided to go to Miranda's to relax a bit. It had been a long day. She entered Miranda's and noticed it was fairly busy there already. She made her way to the long bar and sat down. She waved at Miranda who came down the bar towards her.

"Hello Lieutenant, Congratulation on you new position." Miranda looked her Melissa carefully and said, "Joy."

"Excuse me," asked Melissa.

"You look like you need some joy. I have just the thing." Miranda began mixing a drink by hand she did not even go to the replicator. "It is called a Zidalian Fizz." Miranda placed a glass of dull brown liquid on front of Melissa.

"It doesn't look very fizzy to me," said Melissa dubiously.

"Ah, but wait." Melissa placed a pinch of what looked like sugar into the glass and it instantly foamed up over the top of the glass and turned a vibrant crystal blue color. "It is guaranteed to make you smile."

Melissa doubted that but she picked up the glass and drank it. It had a strange fruity flavor and the foam tickled her nose, which of course made her smile. Melissa giggled as she put the glass down on the bar. It was not a deep purple color. "It changes color."

"Indeed it does," said Miranda. "just make sure you finish it before it turns green. It goes bad when it turns green."

"How long before that happens?"

Miranda shrugged, "anywhere from ten minutes to ten hours."

Melissa laughed again, "Thank you Miranda.

"Any time Melissa. I have plenty of new drinks to test out." Miranda smiled and went to serve another customer.
