Patia walked into Miranda's. It was a quiet night here, too. Everyone who wasn't on duty must be on Qul Tuq. An entire end of the bar was open tonight. Spying her favorite seat open, Patia strode toward the bar.

"Good evening, Miranda. How is business today?"

"Hi Counselor," Miranda smiled. "It is good to see you again. What can I do for you."

"May I have a glass of tea, please? It is good to see you also. How have you been?"

Miranda looked at Patia. She looked tired. "I sure can, perhaps you would like to try something new instead. I am testing several new drinks."

"You can pick the poison, might as well try something new."

"Excellent, I have been wanting to try this one." Miranda began putting the drink together. She used a bluish fruit. She placed it into a mixing device. She poured the vibrant blue liquid into a glass and placed it in front of Zoei. "This is an Andorian Passion Fire."

Patia stared at the glass, almost suspiciously. "That is quite the color, isn't it?" She raised the glass slowly to her lips, sipping tentatively. Flavor burst over her tongue, surprising her with its intensity. "I think this one is a keeper, Miranda."

"Thank you." Miranda looked around. "Things have been pretty slow since we have been docked at Qul Tuq so I thought I would test a few different drink I ideas out. Would you care for anything to eat?"

"I would like a small cup of broccoli cheese soup and a few crackers, if you wouldn't mind." Patia leaned forward, propping her chin on her closed fist and reached for her glass. Sipping again, she savored the flavor, allowing it to slide over her tongue, attempting to separate the flavors and identify a few of the ingredients. "What fruit is in this, Miranda?"

Miranda smiled, "Andorian passion fruit. of course." Miranda chuckled, "There are some Andorian's who believe it to have an aphrodesiac effect. I personally just like how it tastes."

"That is the only fruit? I thought I had a separate hint of a citrus, a little more bite than I had expected. Personally, I am liking the taste as well. I am not too concerned about the other effects." Patia winked.

Miranda winked back, "You are safe, I do not believe there are any Andorians on the Zion. Miranda placed a cup of soup in the bar infront of Patia. "There you go. Enjoy."

"Well, there goes one of your marketing tools for it. Thank you for the soup." Patia dipped her spoon in the soup and slowly stirred. She had been so hungry when she came in and now, it just wasn't appetizing. She tasted a spoonful. The texture was smooth and creamy with tiny bits of broccoli. The flavor was as wonderful as always. She just wasn't hungry any longer. Patia took several more bites, finished half her drink and pushed her bowl and glass from her.

"It is time to call it a night, Miranda. I hope you have a pleasant remainder to your evening."

"You to Counselor. Have a good night"

"Thank you, Miranda, you as well." Patia pushed away from the counter and turned to face the door. She strode across the room. As she crossed the threshold, she paused. A random thought sprang to her mind, one should could not escape. Tomorrow she was going to Qul Tuq. There was something about the station pulling her. Maybe then, this restless energy would subside.
