Rura Penthe #28"

Lt Ken Warner, Marines, [NPC]
Stardate: 58205.09 1900
Teilani felt wonderful, Favor had given her a clean bill of health. Teilani after having beamed to sickbay by Riaan, who erroneously had thought that she was coming down with something serious, was whistling, today seemed to have been a good day. She had been checking on her cloning project and it still was working splendidly.
Commander Wright would be proud of her, his new arm was looking smashing. Even Mason seemed different then usual, not that he said anything but yet again he looked different.
Drinking her coffee, Teilani looked through the ships crew manifest, according to her latest list not all the Marines had checking in for their routing physicals. They still had the firm believe that when you are a Marine, physicals are unnecessary. She browsed through the list when she came to a new name, a private Ken Warner. He must have come onboard when the Zion met up with the USS Laberieux.
Teilani tapped her combadge. Dr Dane to Private Warner, Please report
to sickbay on the double
"I'll be right down," Warner answered.
Cleaning up some padds on her desk, Teilani noticed a young man entering sickbay, that must be Mr Warner she thought.
“Mr Warner I presume,” she said as she walked out of her office.
"Yes ma'am. What's the problem?" he asked.
“There is no problem, I was going over your records and it seemed that your routine physical had been long over due.”
"That's it?" Warner asked.
“Yes,” Teilani responded.
"Oh. I thought it'd be something a little more serious, what with the 'on the double' stuff," he answered, "Yeah, I guess I am a bit overdue. I would've set up an appointment, but I've been a little busy ever since MAJ Madriani went after the missing shuttle, I'm acting CO until he is back."
“Well lets just say Lt, that my experience with Marines has thought me to tell them to speed up. They often tend to ignore requests from sickbay. Anyway you are here now so lets get it done.”
"Is this one of those things where I have to turn my head and cough?" Warner asked next.
Teilani smiled, “In a way, you also might have to follow my finger with your eyes. She took a tricorder and scanned Warners body. “It seems that your white bloodcount is a bit elevated. Did you had a cold or so recently?”
“Well you know how it goes Doc,” Warner said. “Not enough sleep, training at the holodeck you name it.”
Teilani looked at her diagnostic console and tapped in some commands. “Well it is nothing to be worried about Lt. You are fine. However, I will give you some vitamin booster.”
She prepared a hypospray and pressed it against Warners neck.
He flinched a little as the booster punctured the skin.
“There now that did not hurt did it?”
"No." Warner said, though he really didn't like getting injected with anything.
Teilani gniffled as she saw the look on Warner’s face. Those marines were all the same, big mouth, lots of muscle but as it came to being in sickbay and viewing the sight of a hypospray they all be came pussies.
“There you are cleared Lt,” she said. Warner nodded as he slit of the biobed. “Thanks doc,” he said.
With firm strides he left sickbay and headed back to the marine bay. His men were slacking and he decided to get them back in tip top shape again.
