![]() Zent, the Chief Science Officer from the USS Atlanta and Sarik investigate the "Sparrow Project" in more detail. Almost as soon as the device is reactivated, strange things begin to happen. Even Chester, the Captain's cat is seeing strange things.
As the crew deals with these minor annoyances, Miranda hooks up with an old boyfriend, TJ, who happens to be on shoreleave from the USS Atlanta. Sam a little unhappy and a little reluctant, accepts a transfer to security. Meanwhile, the JAG office investigates the murder/suicide of Security officer Wilson who caused an explosion with phaser overload killing himself and two people Dr Dane believed to be spies she recognized from her post aboard the USS Kittyhawk. Lt Cole interrogates Dr. Dane, questioning her conduct in regards to the treatment of the alleged spies. Things escalate to the point where Commander Wright becomes involved. Unable to substantiate any evidence of wrong doing, Cole leaves the ship. Now, several days after the Sparrow Project was activated and turned off, the erie manifestations increase, taking more serious courses. A holodeck malfunction sends Madriani and his daughter for a tumble. They both end up in Sickbay being treated for injuries. During the course of their treatment, Madriani lashes out a medic. This sparks a whole series of problems. |
